 RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
Aware of the need to help promote R&D in biomedicine in Spain, the Scientific Advisory Board of the Lilly Foundation proposed the creation of Biomedical Research Awards, which aim to reward the best research trajectories and promote their continuity by financing their projects
These awards aim to offer recognition and encouragement to those who can serve as an example for their dedication and skill, in the fields of basic and clinical research, and encourage others who share similar goals and who are in the early stages of their careers.
The announcement invites participation from active researchers with a high level of productivity, regardless of the type of projects or lines of research they are working on, as long as it is in the field of biomedicine.
Announcements are published annually and are decided upon by a jury made up of members of the Foundation's Scientific Advisory Board and other scientific personalities and authorities in the fields under consideration, as appropriate or necessary, in order to support their judgement.
